Position Overview:


The Sales Support Team in the EMEA has earned its credits building a very solid business within a loyal customer base in the 'Packaging' and ‘Logistics’ material handling market. With your technical expertise and commercial skills you drive sales of our SpiralVeyor and with main focus and share on AmbaVeyor product line and make an important contribution to an optimal customer experience with your customer-oriented attitude.


Due to our strong growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic Engineer, you feel at home in a technical/commercial environment. In the position of 'Sales Engineer' you are in daily contact with our customers and our Area Sales Managers (ASM) in logistical fulfilment and packaging applications. Creating and advising the right customer solutions, working on quotes and orders, and supporting the sales team is part of your daily work. You also will perform product testing and be hosting customer visits to our facility. You will be Internal Account Manager for assigned customers in close co-operation with the responsible ASM.



Responsibilities:

    • Representative of the sales support department
    • Delivery of a good quality and lead times for the quotations and order confirmations
    • Specify of order information to manufacturing in time
    • Execute Account Sales activities as agreed with the ASM
    • Responsible for the quality of the support to the ASM and/or assigned accounts
    • Manage assigned accounts in line with AmbaFlex strategy
    • Give input to improve processes, guidelines, and systems
    • Work/use and communicate according to the agreed processes, guidelines, and systems internally and externally
    • Ensure, facilitate, and support that the Sales Support team will work in a close business relationship with all AmbaFlex colleagues/departments
    • Be a professional business partner for the AmbaFlex customers, prospects, influencers, and relationships in every activity you execute
    • Have knowledge about the AmbaFlex’ Sales Strategy and ‘key objectives’ to be achieved
    • Have a close business working relationship with AmbaFlex colleagues to enable you to supply the best solutions to the market on time
    • Be as cost effective as possible in all your daily activities

Job requirements

What we look for:

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Experience in Logistic fulfilment or packaging market is an advantage
    • 1 - 3 years relevant experience in a similar position
    • Fluent in English. Other languages are an advantage
    • Familiarity with Inventor, Solidworks and/or AutoCAD
    • You have a positive and open mindset
    • You can work in projects and you are focused on customer satisfaction and results
    • You can handle stress and tight deadlines
    • You can combine a commercial approach with delivering a good technical solution with the right quality
    • Team player, but also capable of solving problems individually
    • You can communicate well, convince, explain, listen, summarize, and advise
    • You enjoy working in an ever-changing, dynamic environment
    • Driving license
